For over eight years, Elene Marsden, aka Preloved Chica, one of the directors of Ipswich Community Radio, has been the heart and soul behind the Time Capsule Show. This popular program has featured hundreds of guests sharing their favourite four songs and personal stories, creating a rich tapestry of music and memories.

Now, Elene has embarked on an exciting new chapter by traveling to Saudi Arabia for two months to join her son and family. Bringing along a mini mixer and microphones, she’s continued the Time Capsule Show from abroad. Already, she’s interviewed fascinating individuals living on the Saudi compound, exploring their lives, their music, and the unique cultural experience of life in the Middle East.

Elene also plans to collaborate with Radio Aramco, opening doors to even more inspiring interviews. It’s a testament to how stepping outside the box can keep passion alive and connect people across the globe.
