On Wednesday 7th January, at 7:30, The Suffolk Family History Society presents, “Aviation, Money, and Politics”.

This presentation tells the story of a remarkable lady who accumulated a vast sum of money. What did this money mean to her and what did she do with it?

The next step for Lady Lucy was to support some important projects including the Suffragette movement, and the future Spitfire.

Lady Lucy also mixed with and confronted some of the big political figures of her era. Churchill and Mosely are two who faced the ‘British Boudica’

Presenter, Dale Wiseman, says, “I am Norwich born, studied at the UEA in 2012, graduating in 2017. I have a wide variety of social history presentations and enjoy travelling all over Norfolk and Suffolk sharing some of these wonderful stories about interesting people.
