Judith Berry, from the Suffolk Archives. ‘Beginning your Family History’… Where do you start? Based on our experiences, I’ll be looking at the top 10 things to do to start your research, whether you’re Suffolk born or not!
Sandra Robinson is a Huguenot ancestry specialist. The Walloons and the Huguenots were French-speaking Calvinist-Protestants who fled persecution in Flanders and France from the mid-16C onwards. Why? How? When? Could I have Walloon and/or Huguenot ancestry?
Ian Waller is a retired professional genealogist, author, member of FFHS, AGRA and the Society of Genealogists. Pre 1600 research, before parish registers, what is available and where. A guide and encouragement.
Peter Calver, founder of LostCousins, has been working with DNA since 2012. ‘How to make the most of DNA- the only record that can’t lie!’ Peter will explain what works, what doesn´t, and how to keep it simple.
