It`s that time of year again when everyone’s thoughts are turning to Christmas and we at the Ipswich Transport Museum are no exception, so why not pay us a visit on Sunday December 7^th, when we are holding our Christmas Cracker Event. You can find us at The Old Trolleybus Depot, Cobham Road, Ipswich, IP3 9DJ.

The Museum will be open between 11am and 4pm when you will find the building awash with Christmas lights and decorations. There will also be entertainment and music, and Santa Claus will be waiting in his Grotto too. He will welcome all your young ones with a Christmas gift for a fee of just £2. All this as well as all the usual attractions along with free bus rides.

This is our last Open Day of 2025, after which our Winter Work Programme begins. So if you think you would like to become involved have a word with any of our Stewards. We would love to have you on board. and we have all sorts of behind the scenes work as well as front of house on our Open Days, which you could become involved with.
