Privacy Notice
Here at Ipswich Community Radio(ICR)we take data protection seriously and the purpose of this notice is to set out our commitment to this as an organisation and it’s application to our members in their duties and the use of this website.
As a member of Ipswich Community Radio you will only be asked for 4 bits of data:
1. Name
2. Email
3. Contact phone number
4. Employment status(used to work out correct level of membership fee payable).
All of the above will be stored on secure devices in the form of a password-protected database and will only be accessed by the Station Manager & Office Manager for the purposes of ensuring the efficient management & running of ICR on a day-to-day basis.
This data will only be held for the duration of a members involvement with ICR and will be updated as required during this time.
If an individual ceases to be a member of ICR then their data will be permanently deleted from the database forthwith.
All of the above applies to those currently completing the Basic Radio Skills Course.
i.e. if for some reason they do not continue their involvement with ICR after training their details will be permanently deleted from ICR’s database!
Where physical membership forms still exist they have been secured and will be destroyed subsequently.
ICR will never share your data with any third party without your express permission!
You have the right to see the data that ICR has on you at any time. There are no exceptions to this, either in terms of the individual or the situation. If you need to do this, please email [email protected] or [email protected]
