Out now is ‘Running Out (Give It Up)’ by We Three Kings.
We Three Kings are a no-nonsense three-piece rock ’n’ roll band from Manchester. They have an all-out sound that blends fuzzed up blues-rock into three minute mini miracles. With Rich on vocals and guitar, Ben on bass and Pete on drums, their riff-driven guitar heavy sound is perfect for any rock playlist. An unpretentious live act with a massive sound; their music is a razor-sharp reminder of the power of monstrous riffs turned up to 11.

Bombardier Jones released their new album, ‘Dare to Hope’ on 23rd November, from which ‘Great Idea’ is taken.
Bombardier Jones’ album, ‘Dare To Hope’, blends rock and roots in 10 songs about staying cool and getting wild. A change of mood from 2015’s torchy ‘Can’t Conquer Me’, the upbeat new album glides across Kinks-ish psych-rock, cosmic country, horn-driven twang and mellow earworms; all daring the listener to reject despair and reach for hope.

On 26th November Abi Mia released ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’.
Abi Mia is rapidly emerging as a compassionate and exciting voice for a new generation. In her latest single, ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’, she uses her gift for catchy hooks and memorable lyrics to share a powerful message of self-empowerment. It follows on from her previous single ‘Shadow’, which also explored the themes of empowerment and self-love.
“Even on those rainy days, it’s about me finding my own way,” Abi Mia sings in the opening verse. Her voice is laced with the confidence that only comes from years of self-exploration. She effortlessly leads with her powerhouse vocals as the track grows into an upbeat pop/funk track that is almost impossible not to dance to.
Speaking of latest enchanting single, Abi Mia says: “I wrote Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ to empower people to continue doing what they love, to do what makes them smile and to have fun with it despite what anyone else may say!”

Soda Blonde released their EP, ‘I Still Have Feelings For you’, on November 26th.
Following the release of their debut album, ‘Small Talk’ – which I have played on my Friday Breakfast Show – Soda Blonde are back with special stripped-back EP, ‘I Still Have Feelings for You’. The EP features 4 beautiful, never-before-heard versions of 4 tracks from the album.
Talking about the album, Soda Blonde’s front woman, Faye O’Rourks says, “To put it simply, Small Talk is about life in our 20’s. Every part of us is in here, both subliminally and literally. Lyrically, this record is like a collection of my flaws and insecurities. They’re lingering awkwardly by the bar at a crowded social gathering, waiting to integrate with the wider world”.
Soda Blonde are on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, AppleMusic and YouTube.
The Districts released ‘I Want to Feel It’ on 26th November.
The Districts today announced ‘Great American Painting’, their fifth full-length album will be released on February 4th, 2022. From that album they are releasing ‘I want to Feel It’ as a single on 26th November.
Vocalist and guitarist, Rob Grote, explains “‘I Want to Feel It All’ is about feeling everything possible all at once, and emotional fireworks and loving the universe and everyone in it. But it also saves room for being about death and the darkness underlying all existence, and forgiveness and pain and acceptance. The video takes place in the twilit Pennsylvania hills, where we perform with fireworks in the ever fleeting present this song seeks to grasp. The surreal undertone to the video represents the detached dreamlike world this song lives in, while the unspoiled American landscape is a symbol of idealism and the natural mystery that inspires our work.”
The Districts, who toured supporting Modest Mouse in the Summer, have announced a run of European dates at the start of 2022.

Shy Harry’s new single ‘Do You Right’ is out now.
Canadian rock band Shy Harry make their highly anticipated return with the brand new single, ‘Do You Right’. Returning to their ways of live-off-the-floor recording, ‘Do You Right’ is an anthemic up-beat rock number. It is about taking celebratory ownership of your life, ditching the pressures of society, and then reintroducing yourself to the world with a wholeness and fullness.
Speaking of the track, the band say, “When we were writing the track, we were thinking about how so many people shy away from sharing where they’re truly coming from, whether it be their story, their mental health obstacles, their fears of acceptance, or more. We want to encourage our fans to show up with their truest selves with full love, sharing strengths and weaknesses, owning life’s challenges or difficulties, and celebrating the journey. It’s a bit of a middle finger to parts of the past with some real excitement for the future!”
Shy Harry have a website, at shyharry.com, and are on Spotify, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

Bad Dream Fancy Dress are releasing ‘Just Desert’ on 3rd December.
This time the Queen of Agit-pop ‘Cat Rees’ sharpens her claws on the international arms trade and the billions of dollars made on the back of human misery in untold conflict around the world. Worse than that, while rightly criticizing China, India and Australia for burning fossil fuels, the UK government refuses to publish the carbon foot print of its armed forces and the carbon dis-charged from the weapons it sells. The UK has been the second biggest arms exporter over the last ten years; two thirds of those arms are sold to countries with no human rights or respect for international law.
‘Just Desert’ has a high octane beat drawing on Arabic Phrygian scales and Afghanistan percussion. With a gothic tip to Edgar Allan Poes ‘Tale of the Beating Heart’ Bad Dream Fancy Dress blend passion and power into another powerful single ‘Just Desert’.
Bad Dream Fancy Dress have a website, at baddreamfancydress.com and are on Facebook and YouTube.
