The amazing Electric Alchemy Band is coming to Stowmarket

The Electric Alchemy Band will bring electrifying fusion to Stowmarket, on Thursday 16th January 2025.

The Electric Alchemy Band is a crossover classical-jazz-Indian-gypsy band. It’s known for its electrifying fusion of genres, with their unique electrifying twist on popular classical, jazz and pop songs: Gershwin to Grappelli, Charlie Chaplin to Puccini and Satie to Sting, and new works by band member, saxophonist-composer, Jeffery Wilson.

Led by internationally acclaimed and Suffolk-based virtuoso violinist Marianne Olyver, this 7-piece ensemble is set to impress audiences with a seamless blend of musical traditions, creating a sound-scape that crosses genres and cultural boundaries. Together they weave their ‘alchemistic magic’ to form a powerful blend of talent for all generations and musical tastes. Known for their stunning performances, Electric Alchemy Band will captivate you with their talent, artistry and energy.

All highly professional musicians from London, Essex & Suffolk who’ve performed around the world in their own right, the band’s unique pedigree includes no less than three international classical music examiners, a jazz-classical pianist, a rock band electric guitarist, an Indian drums Tabla Master, a violin-maker, a London music college professor and an international published composer!
