The Ipswich Group, Suffolk Family History Society presents:

The History and Restoration of Church Organs – with associated stories.

Presented by Simon Pulham, Ipswich Branch Manager of Bishop and Son, Organ Builders and Restorers  (established 1795).

 Simon will present a fascinating talk about the story of Church Organs, as well as the part that Bishop and Son has in the story of building and restoring them.

They are now probably the oldest business still operating in Ipswich!

An entertaining evening is guaranteed. It will include some demonstrations of the basics of creating, building, and renovating Church Organs.

There is a large Car Park at the rear, from where you can enter the building.
