The independent businesses of St Nicholas and St Peter’s Streets, known locally as The Saints, have launched a new website showcasing the retail, food & drink, hair & beauty, professional and accommodation businesses that call the historic streets home.

Created by The Saints Ipswich CIC (Community Interest Company), a not-for-profit organisation that organises The Saints Street Markets and champions the area, the group hope the new website encourages residents and local visitors to look beyond the high street and discover one of Ipswich’s thriving independent retail and hospitality areas.

The website features a directory with all the small businesses featured, information about their popular Street Markets, and a section that explores the history and heritage of the area, from the Anglo-Saxons through to the present day.

Cathy Frost, Owner of LoveOne in The Saints, says: “Our website is a wonderful new resource for visitors to Ipswich featuring the unique range of independent businesses, places to visit and events to be found in the beautiful, ancient district known as The Saints.

Zoe Woods Owner of Crafty Baba, said: “It’s a brilliant new website showcasing everything we have to offer in The Saints, from shopping to hospitality, what’s on, how to find us and all its interesting heritage; a great new resource for residents and visitors.”
